WHAT MAKES YOUR INDUSTRY ATTRACTIVE?

Our industry is attractive because it is recession proof. There will always be a need for crime and trauma scene clean up. As the population increases, so does crime, it's a fact of life.

WILL I NEED A BUSINESS LOAN?

Most franchise candidates find they can fund their business by accessing capital they have available to them through the equity in their home or by accessing qualifying retirement plans. These plans include a 401-K, 403-B, IRAs, Profit Sharing plan, or Defined Benefit Plan.
These options can occur without incurring penalties or tax consequences (please talk to your financial planner or tax adviser.)  Financing options may also include a third party (family or friends.)  In some select situations, Bio-One may offer limited financing through a third party based on a number of risk factors. Please inquire with management for details.

WHAT TYPE OF QUALITIES DO YOU LOOK FOR IN POTENTIAL FRANCHISEES?

We look for people who want to live the American dream, be their own boss, own their own successful company, and overall have compassion for others. Bio-One is more than just money and success; it's about building relationships in your community and with community leaders.  If you don't have a
"Help First, Business Second" attitude, this industry is going to be very hard for you. There are many other good franchises that don't require you to be a people person or have compassion.

DO YOU HAVE RESTRICTIVE FRANCHISE TERRITORIES?

No. We had a franchisee travel 13 hours to recover a scene at his former Air Force Base.  He was a former military officer who knew the layout of the base and already had site clearance so he was perfect for the job. While this was certainly not a normal scene, we encourage our franchisees to take jobs presented to them. If we limited our franchisees ability to make money due to territory restrictions, and limited their contacts, we would be limiting their income.

ON AVERAGE, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO START A NEW BIO-ONE FRANCHISE?

A new Bio-One should be open and operating in no longer than 90 days. You will receive training from our corporate office and be able call trainers to answer any of your questions. You don't have to do it alone. Bio-One is here to help you get up and running making sure you have access to the help you need along the way.

WHAT DOES THE INITIAL INVESTMENT INCLUDE?

The initial investment includes our hand selected Bio-One crime scene cleaning Personal Protective  Equipment (PPE) kit, the basics you'll need to recover/clean scenes, tools of the trade, specialty equipment, classroom hands on training, and B.O.T.S. Training certification. In addition, a full report of your franchise market and marketing plan is compiled from Bio-One management. This detailed report includes proper meetings with municipal individuals, organizations to join, networking groups to attend, and much more.

WHAT IS BIO-ONE'S IDEAL CANDIDATE TO OPEN A FRANCHISE?

Our ideal candidate needs to have the drive to really want to succeed. They must have compassion for others and be willing to learn in a constantly evolving industry. Someone that has worked for a restoration company or has a civil service background such as police, fire, EMT or paramedic can quickly excel with those contacts. We also like people that might have a background in construction or with a contractor's license. They must have a minimum of $55,000 liquid capital, and be able to invest up to $75,000 with a net worth of $150,000. Lastly, they have to be willing to do this full time, no part time owners here.
